The project name BORY is a close reference to its location. This area spreading between Small Carpathians and Morava river is historically known for its deep pine forests, bears the name Borská plain derived from the slovak word for pine, borovica.

The BORY project aspires to become a new city district, significantly widening city´s north-west boundary whilst providing shopping, leisure and other amenities that the area previously lacked.
